Mansfield at King Philip September 28, 2010

A
summertime type of storm hit the Wrentham area just as the King Philip
vs Mansfield cross country teams were to begin racing against each
other. The decision was made to run both the boys and girls teams
together, so that if the storm worsened, later in the day, the girls
would not be stuck waiting to run. The plan worked to perfection
as coaches from both teams set up separate finish lines for the boys
and girls eliminating any confusion with placings. The Mansfield
boys team had a fairly easy time of it as the top four finishes came
home together (see the third photograph below). Mansfield managed
to get the first eight finishers as they defeated King Philip 15-50.
