In a meet more conducive for distance races, Mansfield responded well as Josh Lampron set a school record in the mile with a time of 4:15.23. Shayne Collins won the two mile with a very nice time of 9:21.92 and Nick King won the 400 in 50.89. The 4x800 relay team also won in a pedestrian time of 8:23.84, probably due to the weather conditions. Kevin Giffels is starting to show some nice improvement coming off a 53.6 400 at the Attleboro meet and now running a 2:04.30 for the 800.
