| Girls Meet Information The Attleboro Girls team entered their new league determined to prove they belonged in the Hockomock. Well, they certainly do and they gave Mansfield a tough time, although the score doesn't really indicate that, with Mansfield winning 59-27. Two very close races provided the spark to allow Mansfield to walk away with its second win in a row. The 50 Yard Dash was won by an eyelash as Kayla Comer had to come from behind to overtake Brian Robitaile. The two banged head again in the 300, with Comer again coming away with an easier 2 yard win. Jen Esposito make her hurdling debut a success with a solid win in the 50 Yd Hurdles over teammates Paige Grimes and Kristen McDonagh. McDonagh, then saundered over to the high jump area and jumped an impressive 5-4, just missing 5-6 on two very close attempts. Julia Jones also had her first attempt in the 600 meters and won an exciting race from Kaitlyn Haselton, winning over the last 50 meters or so. Jess Grainger, running her first race after some time off from an injury, won the mile while teammate Meg Cole ran a very tough 1000 meters, getting second as she was outleaned at the tape (she misjudged the finish). Julie O'Keefe won her first Varsity shot put with Rachel Orkin garnering a second spot. Womens Results
| Boys Meet Information Mansfield's Boys Track Team was not the most courteous host as they made Attleboro's debut into the Hockomock League a bit unpleasant, beating the Bombardiers 58-28. Steve Gannon won his second 300 meter race in a row, Shayne Collins ran an excellent 1000 meters, while Josh Lampron and Kham Haleudeth finished 1-2 in the mile. The big surprise of the meet came in the 600 meters, where upstart junior Nate Somes came up with his first Varsity victory, running a personal best of 1:32.4 out of the second section. The "Oakman" came out of the blocks quickly and just never looked back. Ryan Petrella, the current school record holder in the 600 was second, albeit winning the first section. Griffin Robertson concluded the sweep of the 600 with his second place finish to Petrella. Matt Cioe ran a superlative 2 mile, moving through a crowd of runners midway through to finish the 22 laps in 10:52.2. Brian Ferreira had a nice double, placing second in the hurdles in a personal best of 6.8 and finishing third in the high jump at 5-10. In the shot put Bill Giannouloudis continues his consistent work, finishing second, while John Puleo placed third with a personal best of 42-6. Mens Results
